How we check

Google Maps
We search Google Maps for estate agents in your town, the way a seller would, and keep the order it gives.
ChatGPT
We ask ChatGPT which estate agents it recommends in your town. If nobody has asked about your town yet, we ask there and then, which can take up to 20 seconds.

The answers come from the checks we run for our research on independent agencies across England. Each one is dated, so you can see when we looked.

Is it really free?
Yes. There’s no sign-up, no email and no call unless you ask for one.
Do you keep what I type?
We don’t ask who you are. The answer for your town is kept so the next person who asks about it gets it faster, and nothing links it to you.
Why might my own search look different?
Google Maps changes with where you’re standing, and ChatGPT’s answers change from one ask to the next. Ours is one search and one ask, dated, so treat it as a snapshot.
What if my town isn’t there?
We add towns across England as our research reaches them. If yours isn’t in yet, the check says so: get in touch and we’ll look at it for you.
